Bundy Food Tours
Le Cordon Bleu Master of Gastronomic Tourism graduate Suzie Clarke provides fully guided tours of the culinary hot spots in Bundaberg. The variety of tours provide direct access for you to engage with food and beverage producers in the Bundaberg region. You will hear family farming stories, sample produce and be surprised and delighted at what the region has to offer. A sumptuous morning or afternoon tea is provided prepared with local ingredients.
Join our guided food tours visiting 4 farms, a baker or a seafood business in the Bundaberg region. Meet farmers, fisherman and bakers and hear about generations of farming in the Bundaberg region on the Southern Great Barrier Reef. Enjoy morning tea with espresso coffee on a farm during your 4 to 4 1/2 hour tour in air conditioned comfort with a small group of like minded people who love food and learning about how it is grown and seeing it first hand on the farm. Our food producers love sharing their stories with locals and visitors to our beautiful region. Our producers love to meet people from different background who share an interest in food. It is a great opportunity to taste and collect fresh ingredients and flowers to take home. We currently have two different tours, a Taste of Bundaberg experience on Thursday and Saturday Each area has different soil and diverse crops from figs and sweet potatoes to zucchini and macadamia nuts. You will love learning about growing and producing everyday fresh ingredients and exotic fruits such as dragonfruit. We can't wait to introduce you to the farmers of the fertile soil so close to the Southern Great Barrier Reef. Bundaberg food producers nurture the nation with an abundance of raw and beautiful produce.
